How to 40K links

Tau Links

G'day everyone,

Here are links to some Tau sites I have found helpful, for gaming and modelling:

Advanced Tau Tactica., ATT, is an all-round site for Tau in 5th ed. though it is not hardcore with on table performance and list analysis [which is not allowed]. However, the Academy articles are very helpful if you are new to Tau or haven't become a solid player yet. Great modelling and painting on display and how to's. The moderation is strict, and almost makes the Bolter and Chainsword look wild, lol. That is not true, as the B&C is one of the best sites in eLand.

That isn't meant as a knock on ATT, as having somewhere to peacefully enjoy the hobby online is great, but fairly uncommon. It pays to know what you are in for, if it is a different culture, yes?

When in Rome.... ;)

Tau of War is run by Old Shatter Hands, who is a great modeller and painter, as well as being a competitive player.

Warhammer Tau is run by Adam/Darkseer, who is now chief Wolf on the Space Wolves blog.Lots of batreps and thoughts on those, which makes it easier to learn from. Perhaps not as hardcore in army selections as he needs to be, but still things to be learnt from him. This blog is retired until the new Tau Dex arrives.....

Nocker Geek shows a gamer who has grown into competitive gaming and this blog shows how his thoughts on units have changed/progressed.

Shoot-Tau-Thrill. also a blog of a player trying to get the most out of his gaming time, with trying to get the Tau to work in 5th ed.

Eastern Empire run by Sebastian Stuart/Tael. This guy is not much of a gamer by his own admission, but is a painter and modeller extraordinaire. His Tau have appeared in WD Australia a couple of times and he has put much work into ATT and its graphics and tutorials.

I am sure these will be a great help to you.

For hardcore gaming, 3++ and YTTH are where you need to go to get the most from your Tau on the table. Stelek, from YTTH, is not very gentle with people, yet has great wisdom on how to play 40K. You have been warned.....

3++ is the new black

Yes The Truth Hurts

That is all.

Tau'va!
